Caribou attempt the longest land movement in North America

Yet, dissimilar to tamed reindeer, caribou confront proceeding with difficulties to their survival in nature. Since they are boundless and can be exceptionally delicate to modifications in their natural surroundings, caribou are especially helpless against the potential impacts of environmental change and different interruptions, for example, oil and gas mining. 



To help address these difficulties, The Nature Conservancy works with accomplices in Alaska and Canada to ensure caribou territory and movement halls and in addition to examine how environmental change may influence caribou and other Arctic creatures.
